Rehabilitation (Injury, sport, preventative, general, just because)
Most people wait to take action to start a rehabilitation program after an injury or traumatic event. Dr. Janine recommends a PROACTIVE approach to rehab that can optimize movement so that you can keep your body and joints healthy -- and help reduce the risk of future injury.
Movement is not just about your ability to complete tasks on a daily basis--it’s also about maintaining health and longevity, preventing and/or rehabilitating injury, and gaining confidence. In order for your body to function reliably and efficiently, under a range of challenging and unpredictable conditions, it’s important to strengthen your muscles. The Movement Lab appointments incorporate specific exercise prescriptions designed to help you understand how your body moves and is fueled in order to develop functionality and physiologically in everyday life, playing with your children or grandchildren, competing in sport, or climbing a flight of stairs.
